The M&R software will include detailed reports that enable public bodies to better understand and interpret energy and related data. These will be accessible via the ‘Reports’ item on the main M&R menu from April 2024.
The first three reports will be available in April 2024:
- Energy targets - detailed data will show detailed tabular data on your organisation's energy consumption and energy performance over time, and its progress towards the energy targets.
- GHG targets - detailed data will show detailed tabular data on your organisation's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions over time and its progress towards the GHG targets.
- Energy & GHG targets - key indicators will show key performance indicators for your organisation's progress towards the energy and GHG targets. It will also show how your emissions and energy efficiency have changed over time. This report is published by SEAI at the end of each reporting cycle.
Additional reports will be added to the M&R system throughout 2024.
There are several features that are common to many of the data reports.
- All reports are visible to all M&R users.
- All reports are read-only. No M&R user can edit any data by interacting with a report. Users can only edit data via a data input screen.
- Name of your organisation and its PSO ID.
- ‘Last year for which data reported’ indicates the most recent year for which data is shown in the report. Note that the data for this year could be incomplete, e.g. because you have not yet inputted some of your data.
- ‘Data status’ indicates how complete the data is for the most recent year.
- The 'Display units' dropdown enables you to select the units used to display energy (kWh, MWh or GWh) and CO2 emissions (kgCO2, tCO2 or ktCO2) data within the report. Your selection applies to all tables, charts and widgets across all tabs within the same report.
- Some reports are subdivided into tabs, each of which contains one or more elements.
¶ Expandable tables
- Some tables in the reports are expandable.
- Additional information and explanations will appear if you hover your cursor over some text and results.
- Data point values will appear if you hover your cursor over charts.
- The footer includes an 'M&R report reference' number. Please include this reference if you are contacting the helpdesk with a query relating to a specific report. Please also reference your PSO ID.
