§1.3 Climate action roadmaps
Update Climate Action Roadmaps annually in line with updated Public Sector Climate Action Mandate. Develop Climate Action Roadmaps if none are in place.
Public bodies subject to the Climate Action Mandate should update their Climate Action Roadmap in line with updates to the Climate Action Mandate. Updated Climate Action Roadmaps are due within 6 months of publication of the Climate Action Mandate. Roadmaps should be sent to parent department and to SEAI (publicsector@seai.ie). Roadmaps should also be published, for example on your organisation's website.
Government departments should send their Roadmaps to the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications at ClimateActionRoadmap@DECC.gov.ie.
Provide confirmation Roadmap was updated in 2024 and and provide a link to the published version if available. Please also confirm if Roadmap was sent to parent department/DECC and SEAI.
Provide explanation and timeline for completion.
